Hi Everyone

Tuesday, October 07, 2008

Well, I am finally back. As everyone knows the Transplant went well, but am now having some signs of Rejection, which is not uncommon in the first 3 months to 1st year. I was back in the hospital last week and had IV's everyday for 4 hrs per day. Am feeling better now but won't know anything more about the rejection for 6 weeks when they will do another biopsy.

Now for the bad news, My husband passed away 12 days after I got home from my transplant. He had had a heart attack while I was having the transplant and didn't call anyone or do anything about it. He just got over it. He told me about it, and I told him he needed to take it easy. (I was there and he was here, so nothing I could do about it.) I guess he had been having problems because they said his arteries were so corroded that he couldn't do in an average day what an average person could do in a days time. That was why he was sitting around all the time doing nothing, because he didn't feel good.
It was on Sat Morning Aug 23 , and he seemed to be sleeping pretty late, so I went in to check on him and he was gone. OMG What Next?
I Miss him Dearly!!!!!!!

Thank You all for your support! I really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart!

OMG!!!! I didn't know sweetie!!! Why didn't you tell me??? I could have sent you flowers, called, tried to console you. Something....

I know you are hurting and probably feel totally lost. But I am here for you sweetie. If there is anything that you need, Please!, Please tell me...I'm a good listener if nothing else.
