The Skinny Jar Challenge (my team's newest challenge!)

Okay…so I’ve realized totally that this team as taken a turn for the worse. We started a challenge…and I don’t think anyone is really participating. I’m bummed about that…but determined more then ever to turn things around. I want to start a brand new challenge and hope everyone will participate.

It’s really super simple! This challenge is called the Skinny Jar Challenge. The skinny jar challenge will benefit you and help you stay on track while allowing you to save money for a new wardrobe or whateer else you might need! Here’s the idea…

For every 20 or 30 minutes (you all can decide which time amount, I would prefer every 20 minutes) of time you spend exercising you put $1.00 (real money!) into your personal skinny jar. This money will be saved for whatever you want…but only if it’s used for pampering yourself. Now…there is a hitch…For every poor choice you make (you go over your calories, you make a really terrible food choice, etc.) you take $1.00 out of your jar. So it’s great motivation to keep you on the right path!

This challenge will run til the end of the year…so you can pamper yourself for the new year! Let me know what you think. All you’ll be required to do is post on a daily or weekly basis (up to you all again!) as too how many minutes you’re doing..and how many mistakes you’ve made. So that way we all know how much $$ you have in your jar. The person with the most dough (poor choice of words…I love dough!) will win a prize sent from me to your house.

We will also have trivia questions randomly throughout the week and you can earn extra $$ by answering those questions right.

    Hey sounds like a good idea. I belong to a weight loss support group T.O.P.S. and we do similar things (challenges, contests, etc.).
It can be a really good motivator.
Once I commit to something I usually follow through-maybe that's what we need. My food choices could sure use a re-do!
