Its All Good!

Friday, September 19, 2008

I haven't been keeping up my blog. Truth is my time is limited on the computer since I have so many things to do with my limited free time. Truth is I love my life right now. There isn't much I would change, except losing a few more pounds. Or spending more time with family. But, its all good. Now, that doesn't mean that my life is perfect. It just means that I'm contented with life and I'm living in the moment.

That is something I've wanted to do for years. But, it seemed like the fast paced life I was living with trying to balance family and the endless professional responsibilities of being a parish pastor prevented me from living in the moment. But, with the changes I've made in my life over the last couple of years I can live life and enjoy the moments without having to always be rushing to whatever was coming next.

Who knows? Maybe I'll feel different tomorrow or next week or month. But, right now life is good. I love my job and I love the time I have with my family. I love my husband and kids. I even love being the mother of teenagers. I am truly blessed with my life, even in the midst of daily stresses. Isn't that what its all about? Finding the joy in the midst of daily life. Its all good!

Feels good, doesn't it. To be content with who we are, where we live, what we are doing. Some find being content isn't truly living your life, but I feel it's just the opposite. It means we are. Life doesn't have to be exciting & on the go all the time. Just enjoying the moment, is good enough for me.

Many hugs, Ruth

I'm so happy for you! It's rare to hear someone say they are completely content with everything in their life. That is so awesome! :)
