Well here I am on the second day motivated as ever. I really need to learn how to prepare better so I dont spend so much time juicing. However I had two very delicious and healthy juices. I went green, very green. For the veggies I had kale, lettuce, cucumber, parsely and celery. Then for the fruits I had green apple, kiwi, and pear. The only thing that frustrates me is the amount of foam cuz it can be kinda gross.
I decided not to take any to work today and I think I may continue to do it that way. Fast on water during my work day. Juice is best drank fresh and I just dont want to make sure I get the most benefit so I'd rather juice at home before/after work.
This evening was pretty delish. I had tomato, celery, parsely and carrot juice. Then I made this DELICIOUS drink (probably had too many fruits lol). I used a nectarine, peach, plum, 8 strawberries and juiced. Then I put it in a blender w/ ice and 2 bananas and it was a great drink. I did notice that I felt a little light and dizzy. I know its jus the effects tho and it will pass. My body has a lot of purging to do. 28 more days to go! (Not that much :) )
"Things turn out best for those people who make the best of the way things turn out." -John Wooden
I live by this philosophy. There is no way to turn back time. You cant change what has already happened. What you do control is the future. Stop living in the past, even in the present (b/c this present second has now become the past). Learn to live for the future. You cant move forward if you're too busy looking back. Use what is available to you at the moment and dont worry about what has been lost. You lose more of the most precious thing and that is time. Just like anyone else I have had my share of trials but I find happiness in knowing that tomorrow is going to be a brighter day. Hope keeps my heart alive, motivated, and ready to go. Except that fact of life, that obstacles will come. We often hit bumps in the road because instead of preparing ourselves for the next obstacle to come we're still too busy doting on the one before. So what you didnt get it completely right, or right at all, the first time. Believe me, there will be plenty more hills for you to climb. In time, w/ a positive attitude, these things become easier to handle.
Dont get me wrong, I'm not saying live totally care-free, but try to at least be stress-free. Your body will love you for it.
I have had people for and against fasting. However I think it is a great way to give your body a break. This one is long of course because its the first one but I do believe fasting regularly definitely helps, especially in today's society where we're bogged down w/ loads of junk. In the end its all in your mindset and what you want out of it. If you go in w/ false expectations and you dont do your research you will not get the results you desire, and you may do more harm than good.
