i cannot believe that i have been eating so terribly the past 2 days. i don't know what is wrong with me. i am very disappointed in myself. i need to get it together. emoticon emoticon

    Has something happened in your life that has you feeling upset or like you don't have control of the situation? Sometimes when that happens to me, I overeat. I'll have a few days of eating like CRAP, stuff that tastes great but is totally unhealthy. Then is snowballs into, "Well, I've gone this far, I'd might as well eat that too." Here's what I do when this happens (and believe me it happens to everyone). I just tell myself that it was a fun few days, but now it's over, and it's time to refocus. Don't diet though! Don't tell yourself that there is something wrong with you or that you're bad in any way, because you aren't. You are just like the rest of us! Try and solve whatever issue you are facing that caused the binge, but then move forward. You're okay. You are OKAY. You're strong. You're worth it. You have the power. So you gave into your weaknesses for a couple of days....so what? It's four short days in the midst of a lifetime. It isn't the end.
You can do this!

    Hi Nymami,

Try not to be so hard on yourself - you're trying to make lifestyle changes, and that is HARD to do. Here're some do's and don'ts for you:

Don't...give up when you make a mistake.
Do...Keep going with the plan as if you never stopped.

Don't...allow yourself negative self-thoughts
Do...stop those thoughts in their tracks by telling yourself You CAN DO THIS!

Don't...get overwhelmed by the mountain you are climbing
Do...take it one step, one day at a time.

Keep on Keepin' on, girl! You CAN do it!!!
