The first week went well. I brought my lunch each day, which is a healthy sandwich and fruit. In the afternoon I had a snack of fruit. The mornings seemed to be a long time betweenbreakfast and lunch, so I ate a serving and a half of cereal for breakfast. That helped me make it to noon. There was birthday cake in the teacher work area, but I didn't feel the need to eat it. Not even a bite! I was able to walk Sunday and then three of the four weeknights. So I kept my promise of leaving school by 4:30 and getting that exercise in before dinner in the evenings.
I have made the commitment of eating healthy and exercising and I'm going to keep up what I've started. I'm worth it!
