Need to focus

I am so off track right now. I start each week good and then by Thursday I am doing poorly. I am ready for the kids to go back to school so I can get back into a routine. My reunion is in 2 months and I still have 35 lbs to loose!! I know my original goal is no longer realistic, but I need to do the best I can.

    Dawn... I'm right there with you, and I'm beyond frustrated! We just have to toughen up and get through these rough spots! School started friday for us, so now that it's Monday today, I am starting fresh and I'm gonna be good with exercising and eating if it kills me!!!! I'm going to have a daily schedule with specific exercises on it and my food mapped out like Lensmommy wrote so that way I can "check" them off my list everyday! I'm afraid that's the only way to trick my mind into doing stuff I don't want to do. When does school start? WE can do this! It's hard cause we've all struggled this summer so it's hard to find motivation from each other when we're all in a rough spot. I also like the advice with taking one day at a time... I need to remember that more as well! Hang in there Dawn! Let's get back into it together! :-)

    I have really fell in love with the motto, "Be good TODAY." That has really helped me to take it one day at a time. Just be good today, worry about tomorrow when it gets here. =) You can do it!!!!!! You have done so well, don't give up! emoticon

    I know it must be discouraging. You see that the goal you set is out of reach, but continue to prod forward, and get as close as you can. Think of all the progress you have made already!!! You look better than you have in years, right? Well, what you lose in the next 2 months will just be icing on the cake. (maybe not a good analogy to make), but you see what I mean. You have made great progress already. And yes, once the kids get back in school, you will be able to get back into a routine, and see more success. Maybe make a goal to be extra good on Thursday, and break the bad streak.

    Thanks for my blog comment. One thing my WW leader suggests is the night before, journal all your food for the next day, and treat it like a "to do" list, that way you don't stress about what to eat, and you will stay on plan.
