Good News, Could Be Better News, and Wont know til tomorrow News

Well, went to dr., today..Funny, was seen by a PA student, first, and the first thing he commented on was my leg..Actually, I liked this guy's whole demeaner; He did all he was suppose to do, took my blood, which he was good at, thank goodness..Took it out of my hand, because since I have small, disappearing veins, he didn't even want to chance my arm..Didn't even feel the prick..He told me he was a paramedic in another life lol Anyway, I talked to him alittle bit, about the meds, the diabetes, the leg, etc..When Ed finally came in, he actually stayed and talked for more than 5 mins..I was Good news, I'm off anti-depressants! YAY me! But he told me to keep them handy and keep tabs on Anyway, on the leg, he's ordering a doppler sonagram, because he finally decided that this wasn't going to go away on it's own..again, duh..

The won't know until tomorrow news is if I get off the diabetic med..Gotta call for results in the morning..If it's as good as my last one, then I'm off it *fingers and toes crossed*..Cholesterol med, I couldn't talk him out of, because of being diabetic, better to stay on it to make sure my levels stay 50 or above..But I can live with that; I'm more concerned with getting rid of the anti-depressant and gone and hopefully, tomorrow, so's the second one..If it is, then I've hit one of my goals..

The not so good news was my caloric intake; Kind of a double edged sword type thing; Not over my intake, but not by much lol But, 1. I've not been on the high end in ages, and 2. It was all nutritious stuff.. Well, ok, lunch (BK) wasn't that terrific, but dinner was..And did a lot of walking inbetween..What made it even better was Tim cooked lol Gotta love a man who can and likes to cook!

All in all, a nice day spent with Da Man, got some answers at the doc's (sorta), got some exercise in, though wound up not going to the gym..And got a new pedometer, so will have to try that puppy tomorrow and hope it registers better than the last one (56 steps after walking 1/2 mile and all over the house)

Believe me, I'll be blogging as soon as I call Destiny, in the morning, and hopefully get good news!

Hey when you get that pedometer, go to and join in the walk to the moon, 10,000 steps per day. Several goonies are doing it. It is a good challenge to see if we can do it.

I am praying for good results from the dr.
