I feel so much better! My lower back is NOT kiiling me anymore! My overall pain level is much better. I can take up to 6 norco a day, and until now have been needing that much. NOW, I only NEED 2-4 a day! This is HUGE!
I attribute it to eating better(and less using Paul McKenna's hunger scale) and more exercise. I have been SOME exercise every day. I've been doing crunches and reverse crunches everyday, sometimes up to 3 times a day. When I get an energy slump I walk in place, do some crunches, dance, or do some exercise video.
Because my husband sees my commitment things are better between us too. When the family has a high fat dinner planned he'll often bring me home a lower calorie alternative (like shrimp). He brings me home 100 calorie packs and the like too. His "sex strike" is over too, or at least I hope Sat. wasn't a fluke. LOL I have lost the taste for alchohal too. I haven't drank a drop in weeks. Instead I drink diet "to go" drink packs my favorite is raspberry green tea.
We went bowling yesterday (DH idea, yay!) and had a blast. I can never get him to do anything active. This was the first time we went in about 5.5 years! I bowled 118, and only lost to him by 3 points. I was afraid my shoulder would bother me but it did not. When we got home Sam and I went to the pool for nearly an hour. For 30 minutes of it I worked out with my 2lb. weights in the water.
I hope I can remember how great I feel, when I need motivation to continue this new lifestyle!
