Sunday, August 03, 2008

This will be short as everything including my fingers are tired and this is just a break ----

So how many bales can one girl buck is one girl could buck bales?

The answer to the question -

Well this one girl CAN buck bales and she helped buck 2 TONS of hay today!! With 10 tons still in the fields.

Talk about getting my exercise in today.

But the thing that I am most proud of today and I almost didnt notice it - I went to put on my shoes and tie the laces today and was able to put my foot in my lap. For those too skiny to understand - my belly has been in the way for nearly the last 2-1/2 years and I have had to lean over between my legs while sitting to tie my shoes. Today, I actually placed my ankle on my knee without giving it a second thought and started tieing my shoe and then it dawned on me what I did.

Two tons of hay and shoes tied...been a damned great day! Makes the 5 pounds lost this week seem like nothing. I am most proud of tieing my shoes like I used to....never would have guessed that tieing my shoes would be what I would have been most thrilled over. Talk about changing paradigms - I think I might actually become

I am so happy for you!!!

I totally understand the bucking bales of hay! I did that when I lived at home on the ranch. 10,000 bales per year or more in the barns. I still do that for my horse but it is about 20 bales at a time now.

I understand tying your shoes also! I have resorted to slip-on shoes. You gave me shivers when you said that you could tie your shoe while SITTING! I am so PROUD OF YOU!!

Keep it up! Make sure you are drinking a lot of water while you are out in the hay field. The more you can pump in, the more the body can pump out!

    You are my inspiration! =)
    Thank you for sharing!
Hugs and bestest bale bucking wishes!
