August 1st: New Start and the 10lb Challenge!

Friday, August 01, 2008

Well, I've done it now! I've made it very public. emoticon And I am a little intimidated by my own audacity. I am going for a healthy 10 lb loss. This will mean more planning, more exercising, more creativity, etc.
BUT
I'm
still
going
to
have
FUN!

Good for you!!! I'm approaching my weight loss in the same way. Instead of saying, I want to lose 45 pounds, I decided to do it in 10 pound increments. It's less intimidating and sounds more doable. Currently, I have until Aug. 20th to lose my 1st 10 pounds and I'm about 3 quarters of the way there!

I'll be rooting for you! emoticon

I am with you - I also have put myself on a 10 lb challenge. I am worried that the weight will never come off - as i have been oh so NOT serious about this for a year now.
    Time to get into action!
