having a rough time

Feeling pretty down about myself right now.. I have had a major slip back on my weight loss journey.. this last friday I had a whole medium pizza to myself and then on Monday I had half of a medium pizza to myself.. then yesterday I had mcdonalds.. not to mention I only worked out once this week.. So I am pretty sure that I have gained back some of the weight that I worked so hard to lose :( I keep saying that tomorrow I will go to the gym but in this case tomorrow doesn't seem to be getting here.. It seems I am back to my old ways and it sickens me.. I need to get back on track and learn to stay on track.. no one said this was gonna be easy so why do I expect it to be...

Haven't been on in awhile myself but I wanted to send you a note to say hi. I hope you're doing well. I totally understand getting off track. I've been lucky and keeping steady where I was during the summer. Don't beat yourself up over it. Just take it slow, 1 day at a time until you feel back on track. Something is better than nothing, even if it doesn't seem like much at the time. Drop me a line if you ever feel like it. keki13@gmail.com

We can ALL relate. I think I'm just starting to pull out of a slump that's lasted a couple months. But then I've thought that a couple different times only to discover I was wrong......hopefully not this time.
This week, so far, has been a good week for me. You have to keep looking ahead!! Don't look behind, what's done is done, time can't be changed.
Focus on a new day, a new attitude, a new way! emoticon
You can and will get through it, sometimes it just takes longer than we would like.
Good Luck! Keep your chin up!! Keep on smilin'!!

Everyone has setbacks. I had one that lasted a month, My trip home. You just have to keep working towards your goal. It is never in a straight line. Tell yourself 'That was yesterday. And today is today." Hope your week goes better.

I have SO 'been there'.......like the others said, don't beat yourself up. Tomorrow is a new day and it's never too late to recommit to it. We ALL slide off now and again, some of us in a big way. Just try not to let it discourage you and get you back into that old self-hating, self-defeating mindset, 'cause THAT'S what defeats us, not the temporary slips! The temporary slips are just transient and the 'damage' can be undone.......the self-defeating mindset just wants to perpetuate itself and drag us down permanently, every single day! So please hang in there and don't think badly of yourself for doing the same thing we've all done along the way. And like Ultimate said, try smaller steps that might be easier to do to kind of get you jump-started again. Sometimes that's exactly what it takes. emoticon

If going to the gym and working out is too big a step up back onto the "wagon," try something smaller. Just drink 8 cups of water, or eat a healthy food, or spend some time on the Spark site encouraging others. Then you will have started to build up some momentum again, and a little workout (maybe just walk around your home once or twice rather than the gym even?) won't be so hard to grasp. You'll be back into your healthy routine in no time!

It's just a moment... this time will pass. emoticon

That's all right... we all slip up now and then. The most important thing is that you get back on the wagon!! You can do it darlin!
