Wow Sore and didnt even do anything!

I worked out for 13 days straight. Yesterday I wasn't feeling so well. I decided to take a day off from exercise. The more time that went by the more stiff and sore I became. I cant believe it. I didnt do anything yesterday and today I can barely move! My legs hurt so bad. I think I should work out everyday just to keep my muscles loosened up. What do u think? OR am I supposed to work out one day then let my muscles tense up the next day and get back to it the day afterwards? And its not just my legs, its my whole body... Opinions please... Thanks
