okay, I'll admit it... I totally want to see results when I've been working for 2 weeks. Instead I step on the scale for my weekly weigh in and what do I see... I GAINED 5 lbs? Please tell me how that is possible and most importantly how to gain a proper perspective after that?! But somehow I did and let all the most important things roll through my mind... "it's a long process, you are getting healthier, it's not an overnight deal, you didn't gain it in a day (although sometimes I think I did) and you won't lose it in a day" All those things that set your mind back to reality.
Training for the 5k is not going near as well as I would like. I get bored way too easily. Now I remember why I didn't walk more in the past. It's high time I work to find something to that will keep me interested while walking. That will be my project this week. In the meantime I will continue to do various exercises to keep my energy level up.
