Giving up....

Friday, July 25, 2008

I know I can't since we are only this far into the Biggest Loser Challenge - but I feel like it. I feel like I have little willpower tell you the truth. I have lost weight yeah, but I've gained at least 1/3rd of what I lost. I don't feel like eating healthy, but in some ways, I dread gaining the weight more than not eating my "idealed" food (idealed because they aren't actually that great, it just feels like it at times). I don't want to have to buy bigger clothing again. If I could maintain a 1 lb loss a week for the next 9 weeks of this challenge (9 lb is around 4kg) I could get to 64.2 which is the lowest I've been at in a long time, but also isn't too much to lose over that time frame. I will aim for that for now and see where it takes me :)

that sounds like a good weight goal. it's best to lose 1-2 pounds per week than more because it is easier to maintain. I feel the biggest loser program gives people an unrealistic idea of a healthy weight loss. plus a lower weight loss rate reduces that saggy baggy skin look.

Don't give up! You can do this! If it seems too overwhelming, try to focus on one or two specific positive actions like getting in all of your water or getting 20 minutes of activity each day. You can build some momentum that way. Hang in there!
