The Week Is DONE!!!

Friday, July 11, 2008

I knew it was going to be a long exhausting week...and it was... i think the most sleep i got was a 5 hour night..the shortest day was an 11 hour day... i clocked out at 65 hours tonight...i am tired...but satisfied with a job well done... we had our stressful times... the crankies sneaking up at times... and some good when i went and bought coffee...and gave the receipt to him and when he opened his mouth to say something, i told him hey, since we are like old married folks and spending all our time together, he may as well pay for my expences it was right after that he told me i was acting like a nagging wife..tehe... we've also been bickering like married folks do... we've also had our moments of just sheer fall over exhaustion... but we did make it through... though the ones watching are still wondering how...all i can say is...thank God for out of this i have gotten some extra pampering also... drivers bringing me candy... cause chocolate is a girls best friend after all... and yes..i ate it in moderation... the new girl has made and brought me coffee and this morning stopped and bought me some of the super charged coffee :) the dock guy stopping on his lunch break to buy me some of the super charged coffee...and the sales rep bought me some flowers and a card that said thank you... the supervisors are going out of their way to say thank you and working double time to get another girl in the office so this does not happen again. all said and done...i do love the extra attention i am getting and more along the lines of knowing that it is appreciated...but even better...i know i have done a good job...i know i have gone over and above what was expected of me...i know i went the extra mile...and i did it well... and though i would not recommend doing this... the fact is.... i have a sense of something good...yea...i'm exhausted beyond belief... i also feel as if i have accomplished the impossible... and with people i love and respect... and good thing i do...i have spend more time with them than my own kids...ikes.... but no worries...the weekend is scheduled full of rest and family.... no outsiders...just rest and family :)

Kitty, you rest this weekend!!! The housework can wait, or better yet, get the kids to do most of it! I just read an article about the affects of working long hours, and I didn't like what I read. Ok, off the soapbox, LOL!!! Have a great weekend!!! And maybe week, don't know if I will get a chance to find an internet cafe while we are gone.

Grrr, that will suck if I can't log on all week, but I will be thinking of you all! Can you send me the daily dares for next week in an e-mail so I can keep up with them? If you send them to me by Sunday night, I will get them before I go.

    Love ya!
