My Second Wind

I feel good. I feel lousy. I am getting back into the running thing because I've been stuck at 162 for 6 months and counting. I suppose it's Good that I feel Lousy enough to do something about it!!

I was running 5-6 x's a week when I first joined SP back in October. I dropped my first 10 lbs in a month. Then I plateaued. Then came the holidays. Now here I am seriously getting back into the swing of things. My body has maintained this weight for quite some time now. Enough time...too much time! Time to do something about it!! I'm tired of not being able to wear most of the clothes in my closet because they still don't fit. They still don't fit.

I am in the early stages of the c25k plan and I find myself wanting to run more than just 3xs a week as suggested by the program. I want to get there and I want to get there now.

Just keep with the program. Even though I was running before, I wasn't running three miles straight. I would love to reach that point. Can't even begin to imagine having the stamina to run three miles straight.

Just stick with it! The Benefits will come...just be patient!!
