Declaration of Independence from Giving Into Cravings And Sweets
All throughout my childhood and adult life I have had a passion for sweets, chocolate, pastries and such. Well, it’s HIGH time I said “NO MORE!” to nasty cravings! Life will continue on without caving in under pressure.
I am in the process of learning moderation. I can have sweet items and they can be in the form of fruits or even sorbets if I read the label careful enough. Not everything needs to be smothered in chocolate, caramel, marshmallow, etc.
I need to stop letting my love of chocolate define me as a person. Everyone knows me as “Kim, the biggest lover of chocolate in the WHOLE office!” I work with 30 people!
Starting now I am in control of what I eat and what I want to eat, not the other way around. And I will start looking at the long-term effects of what I put in my mouth… Will this keep me satisfied for a few hours or just last a few moments? What has the best source of fiber and protein not empty calories?
This may be a very tough line to walk but I am more then ready to try the tightrope!
