Hello all,
My Name is Tia and I hate writing introductions :)
I am 30yrs old, 5'4", female, Engaged, & have 6 children (all fur babies)I am a full time secretary /insurance agent for a small office, I am also attending online classes for the Art institute of Pittsburgh where I will achieve an Associates in Interactive Media & web design
I was directed to spark people by an intern at my Doctors office.
I have been overweight for most of my life, it wasn't so bad in high school I actually got down to a 14 for Prom & Graduation. A Year after graduating I was in a car wreck & Crushed 2 vertebra. The doctors stabilized the area with rods & Screws so Luckily I am still walking. After surgery I was told I could not run, not to lift over 10 lbs, don't get pregnant & don't gain any weight....yeah right. With a succession of desk jobs & my own hobbies of Tatting & sewing I am not that active, so the pounds have crept on. I Am now 95 lbs heaver than when I graduated and according to my Dr. 115 lbs over my Ideal weight.
So here I am at 255, My Goal weight is 150. I know most of the problem is that I don't get enough exercise. I just cant seem to stay focused on it, I get bored or I can always find something else to do.
I wrote this approximately 3 months ago. Today I had a follow up visit, I gained 5 lbs, & was diagnosed with PCOS Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome.
So now losing weight is even More imperative.
