Carb Cycling Day One

OK, no carb day is NOT fun. Mind you, I'm eating lots of green veggies for bulk, and there are carbs in them, but today I had no grains or legumes at all. I was starving all morning despite two large servings of veggies and protein before noon. By afternoon I had eaten enough cabbage salad with eggplant and tuna (tastes better than it sounds!) to fill my stomach up, but my mind kept drifting to oatmeal. And fruit. I didn't even think of sugary things, I just wanted complex carbs. Oh man, I CANNOT wait for breakfast tomorrow.

It's raining again tonight. I'm determined to do the Project Mayhem workout tomorrow, even if it means coming back to my tiny room to do the non-cardio excercises. I suppose I could do them in the living room, but my roommates already have trouble wrapping their heads around the idea that I willingly jog and bike-ride. Having someone stumble out of his room for coffee while I'M grimacing and trying to complete my third set of 50 squats is not my idea of a good start to the day.

    Ha yes stay in your room and do the exercises! Good luck with your first challenge!
I do NOT envy you on the carb cycling. I don't know how you made it through the day, you are stronger than I am!
