OK, I know everyone says this...

I get to (have to?) do all my workouts outdoors, and it dumped rain last night. Ground and everything else are totally soggy and muddy. I'm already really sore from my leg workout and yoga yesterday, plus I urgently have to grocery shop before work today, so I switched up the carb cycling and will do tomorrow low-carb and workout.

Cherrydoll, I think this is the same as calorie cycling, or works out the same. Keeping fat and protein relatively the same, I cycle high/low/no carb days in even proportions throughout the week. No carb days include all the green veggies I want, but no grains or legumes, and they are my days off from working out. Low carb days I eat about 1 carb per pound of body weight, high carb days I get as much as I want for 4 of my 6 meals.

I realized I've been keeping my carbs really low for the last 6 months and I think my body adapted, plus I don't think I was consuming enough calories. I intentionally stuffed myself with 1700 cal for the last two days, including a low-carb (which felt like high carb to me!) and high-carb day. I think it may have jump-started my metabolism again, because the scale just dropped a pound this morning. Finally.

So, we'll see how this goes. Off for supplies, and god I hope my whey protein gets here soon!

    A loss is a loss, that's how I look at it, now if I could only lose a few, i'll be very happy. Keep up the hard work, your doing great. :)
