Got up and hitting ye olde Evil E first thing yesterday morning before heading out to my son's surgical residency completion ceremony where I got to hear all the accolades pouring...(proud papa takes a bow! lol) and turned down the dessert (either creme brulee or tiramisu...yummy, so I hear...but "nothing tastes as good as being healthy feels!") .

While I wasn't really planning to "show off" my new improved self, it was a very special occasion in which MANY members of my extended family were present to offer my son support and praise. Even my younger sister, whom I haven't seen since she got married and moved off to the California Coast 22 years ago!Suffice it to say I "wowed" 'em all! :-) Hoping some pics come around that I can share...we'll see.

Part II of the celebrations continues tomorrow at my aunt's place near Kalamazoo...beautiful place on a lake...nice and casual, as opposed to last night which was at a snazzy country club.

Will keep posting away my jam-packed vacation...off to the fitness center for more of that "evil E!"
