I'm trying to stay on the right track--again. I can see parts of it...just not the entire path... it is covered with kudzu. LOL
At times I see it, run toward it and manage to follow it a while...others I see it, try to get on it and can't... and at other times, it seems like I can't even see it.
OR I find it and then get smacked-up-side-the-head with something that knocks me off, and tumbling down the ravine (resulting in further I have to climb back up, to find the path again.)
I know that I have to be SO determined to stay on that path and/or head back toward the path when I stray... It has to be more important than anything else I do. Or I feel yuck-O!
In the past, I've followed the path easily, as a matter of routine, and didn't let ANYTHING knock me off. I can do that now. If I want to...
Right now there is overgrowth on my "healthy" path...
I'm trying to clean the path as I go! It is tough to see results when I feel like the effort is useless and wasted. No need to clean off the path really--it will wear itself off, the more I'm actually ON IT! Parts of my path are definitely ONE BIG CIRCLE :)
I think we all have our own special "path" that works for us...I know what mine is...I just have to do it! Nobody else can make me. But, it is tiring and difficult when it seems like nothing works! This is me getting on my path and doing what I know works for ME! :) The logging of food & exercise (like on SP) is a great motivational tool for me.
Look at me--I'm on my path, just because I want to be!!
I have many pounds to lose--but, it could be much worse.
I can do it!
We ALL can make good choices!
