I am so proud of myself today for getting up 30 minutes before I normally rise to get ready for work. It was my intention to get up early enough to get in a good workout early in the day so that I won't have to worry if I miss out on working out later. Great idea, right? Well, I did 10 minutes of stretching. I felt pretty good with this. Then I hopped on my elliptical, turned on my tunes and began my workout. Whew.....Good Golly. I really don't seem to have the same energy as I have in the evenings. Usually I can workout 30 minutes an feel really great after. But this morning, 15 minutes was all I could take. I still felt pretty good but was a little disappointed. I am typically good at pushing myself. Believe me it was a push to get in those 15 minutes. I've read, some people just don't do well working out in the morning. Maybe I am one of those "some people". I love mornings. I love the quiet of mornings. However, until I just threw my body into shock this morning, mornings was always my chill time, my take it easy time. I will try a few times more and see how I like working out early. I'm sure I will go back to working out late. Besides, I don't get enough sleep anyway. I could go to sleep earlier at night........uh.....no probably not.
