So I was wondering has anyone ever tried slim fast? If so does it really help you? and how does it help you? Does it make you really make you full like a meal? I heard some people joke and say they call it "sh*t fast". I really would like some feedback on this blog. I listen to you sp...or lets just say your thoughts on issues go a long way with me so....tell me what ya think. Have a good one and keep that ticker a movin'

    I have tried SlimFast. It is NOT filling and it really does a job on my digestive system, ie gas and diarrhea. It's best to just stick with real, healthy food.

    I've used slimfast, but I usually have supplemented it with a piece of fruit, because it doesn't stay with you long. My favorite flavor is the Vanilla, but I stopped using it because it has been know to be linked to Kidney/Gallstones

    Good question, My mom drinks it if she doesnt have time in the morning to make breakfast and is running out the door, just to get her metabolism going. I didnt really think i would like slim fast, but i actually began to like it, although i dont drink it on a regular. The only flavor i would recommend though is the chocolate one.

    Never tried slim fast! I agree with the comment below...SparkPeople breakfast is the first thing I check in the morning for suggestions! Have a great weekend!! WooHoo! emoticon

    Ehh... I used to drink that stuff when I was in a rush in the morning. However, it never stayed with me and I was STARVING by lunch time. I personally think it's better to follow the spark breakfast suggestions because they're better for you, designed to leave you feeling more full until the next meal, and if you're working out.. you need more food than just slim-fast.

If you're working out a lot, eating good-for-you foods won't cause you to gain weight.. think of it as "fuel" for your body. Otherwise just drinking a slim-fast will cause your body to hold onto the fat you have as the fuel because you didn't give it enough.

I have come to LOVE plain quick oatmeal with 2tsp of brown sugar in it. YUM. Fills ya up, good for ya. TASTY. (I feel like a commercial, so I'm going to stop.)

    It worked for my mom. Now, I'm picky about what I drink and slim fast was nasty to me so I could never use it. But you may like it. There's no harm in trying.hahah I always buy the cheapest thing I can find when I'm trying diet food, just in case I don't like it. I still haven't found any energy bars that don't taste like dirt. I tried various kashi kinds and others haha oh well. have a fabulous weekend!
