I'm not lovin the amount of trans fat in McDonald's burgers. I used to think it was a treat to eat out but I'm starting to think I should just make it at home and enjoy the food without the damage to my arteries. And my poor kids, I shall not take them. They may be young, but young people are having heart attacks more often than before!
So far I've looked at Wendy's menu and while there is some trans fat on their menu, it's not as extreme as McD's. Burger King is out too! Ohhh, Carl's Jr isn't listing trans fat on their website, so I shall have to call. 1-877-799-STAR. Eating out takes research. Popeyes is trying to be funny by listing amounts with skin and breading removed! As if you could get all the breaing off their chicken strips! I will be contacting them as well.
It's a whole mindframe change. It's not a luxury to enjoy take out. It will require forethought and an exercise action plan for me to enjoy anything I eat outside my home!
