So week 1 of the challenge goes by and I am impressed with myself and the food journal I am keeping. My workouts are on the ball and I am even doing week 2 of my run training! ME, running!!
I weight in and I am up three pounds!!
Holy $* !!!!

Well, I am doing a bit more reading this week. I am trying to up my protein intake as well as my fibre. I am making sure that I get my four servings of fruit and veggies (each).
I can't wait to see if that makes a difference!

I am so thankful and grateful that the ladies at the gym are noticing a difference in me and I have one of them ask me at least once a week what I am doing for my workouts and did I get a personal trainer? These comments and questions keep me motivated. Even though I may not be seeing the scale move or the inches decreasing my body is changing and people can notice the difference. I can too!! My clothes are fitting better and better.
This helps on those days when I get on the scale and don't see any numbers budge. Those are the days that I want to quit! I haven't lost any weight since December. I have fluctuated between 198-202 since then. Because these women have spoken up and because my man keeps commenting...these things keep me going!
I am also eager to see how my stats will change. When I weighed in on May 12 for the beginning of the challenge I got my Body fat % done as well as my muscle and water weight. I can't wait to get on the scale for the final weight in 9 weeks from now and see how all of my numbers have changed!
Weigh in number 2 is on Monday...I hope it is good to me! :-)
