The Oregon coast was beautiful over the weekend! We stayed in Seaside, but also traveled around to Tillamook and Newport.
So many things to see, SO many foods to indulge in! I basically let myself eat whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. You know what I found out? When I allow myself to eat I don't do too bad. I did eat things that I usually don't, and things that I ONLY eat while at the beach.
I did try a candy coated Twinkie (who knew people needed to create such things?) I also had fudge. Even ice cream at the Tillamook Cheese Factory. There was so much stuff to do I actually missed lunch one day. I didn't even realize I hadn't eaten!
When I got back on Sunday my weight was up by three pounds. Not bad to me considering I didn't eat that healthy, and the only exercise I got was walking around through all of the shops and along the beach. Today my weight was only up by half a pound. One day of eating right and I'm back on track! I didn't even get a chance to exercise yesterday, since I ended up having to watch my niece and nephew.
Today I've already gotten in 45 minutes of exercise, and I'm planning to go to the gym again with my husband tonight. It felt great to take a break and know that I can bounce right back.
