Crazy times.

It is a crazy time in my life right now. Job interviews, vacations, work, MBA schoolwork, balancing friends and family, and I just finished my first road race ever...a 10K. Oh, I almost forgot..there's always that lingering issue that I struggle with every day: my weight. I've come to realize that I no longer want to be a slave to my scale. I actually haven't really stepped on it for a few weeks, because i've been training for my 10K. I wanted to focus more on my training and getting my energy levels up with carbs rather than losing a few pounds. But I did it!! I ran the entire thing....all 6.2 miles. I'm a slow runner, so I finished in about an hour, but it was SO worth it. So rewarding. I highly suggest that everyone attempt just one goal they never thought they could achieve.
