"Get organized. Sometimes our lives get messy not so much from negativity as from inertia. Inertia results in half-done tasks littering our mind and never-ending to-do lists. Prioritize the elements of your life. Consider what is most important: career, family, friends, health and fitness, a romantic relationship, travel or a special interest/hobby? List the desired elements of your life in order of importance. Each day take five minutes to review how your schedule aligns with your priority list. Is there something that you spend time on that is not really a priority, and takes up too much time? Name a step you could take that would change that. " by Melissa Wadsworth
This is a difficult one for me. I might need to rethink/change this. But here goes...
Priorities:
My Relationship
My Family
Health: Physical, Mental, Spiritual
Community/Connection
Intellectual Stimulation
I am constantly not prioritizing the first 3 on my list. I'm usually focused on work (which falls under community) but I don't even think about working on my relationship. It just happens. I have to think about how I will keep my relationship with my girlfriend strong and healthy. We have communication problems. My family I already started working on. I am calling more and I am emailing my sister and letting her into my life more.
My health---Aghhhh!! Working on prioritizing it. That's why I am on sparkpeople.
