I am back after a week away from home. It was a great holiday... no responsibilities, just relaxation in a very beautiful part of the world (Banff). I ate well. That is to say, I ate in nice restaurants that served healthy food, and I made good choices--without regret! I had a few indulgences, but not too many. I stayed active most of the trip, although the last 2 days in Calgary I did not get many steps in. When I got on the scale this morning, I see that I have not gained anything. Yay!! It is good to be back home and getting back into a routine, however, because I can see how I could have starting going down that slippery slide into holiday mode eating if I had stayed away much longer.
My favourite restaurants in Banff:
The Bison
Coyote's
The Wild Flour
These are all off the main drag, and serve excellent "Clean Eating" type food: mostly organic, made on the premises from scratch, and delicious!
