Didn't do too much damage

Thursday, May 08, 2008

I splurged last night. Ive been doing super low carb for 2+ weeks and after not losing weight I went crazy with carbs yesterday..lol I had hot ham and cheese sub and some pizza..I am a bit swollen today but the scale was the same. YAY!

I'm feeling much better than I did yesterday. I got a easy workout in. My hamstring is still really sore from the 10miles I did on Mon, so I kinda babied it today.

Thanks for reading and listening to me yesterday, Im back on the boat. Hopefully throwing in some extra carbs and cals will shake my body up a bit...

Thanks for the info. I've been in ketosis for almost 2 weeks and I stopped seeing weightloss and instead saw it going up everyday. I just don't know what was going on. I've decided I'm just going to go back to the recommendations SP gives. I've lost 30lbs 2 times using SP guidelines, so I know they work for me. I was just hoping for a FASTER, fix I guess. I know several friends who've done low carb and dropped lots, but for some reason its not working that way for me.

Anyways thanks again for your thoughts..I do know it takes 3 days to get into ketosis. But Ive always been able to come right out of it if I have a bad meal...hmmm

hello... I saw you on the atkins team! Something I found out on that diet (I lost 30 pounds with it before) is everything was three days behind. What I mean is I could eat strict for an entire day and not see any results... the next day as well... but the third day the scale would show my hard work. It also worked the same way when I cheated... it would show up 2 or 3 days later. I saw you were a little bit frustrated on that board... and I have NO clue if it works this way for anyone else but you never know!

Congratulations on your weight loss so far.
