I really do enjoy icecream

Wednesday, April 30, 2008

April 30, 2008
I am sitting on my couch watching TV and I really want to eat some ice cream. I have been outside for most of the afternoon and evening working on getting the window painted. I didn't really eat a snack and I think that I should have. Not eating a snack has made me very hungry even after I ate a good dinner. I usually eat a small snack when I get home from work. Well I think I will go and brush and floss my teeth that way I won't go and have some icecream.

I love ice cream too, and cake, cookies, chips, you name it :) All those not so good for you comfort foods. Have you tried the low fat ice creams sweetened with splenda? or the skinny cow ice cream sandwiches? Both a lowfat/low cal alternitive to high fat/high cal ice cream when your craving just wont let up :)

I never thought about eating frozen fruit. That really would help the craving for that cold ice cream. Thanks for the tip. emoticon

I like ice cream, but it is a lot easier for me to pass up the ice cream than the chips and salty snacks. Fancy is the ice cream freak at our house. I bought Snyder's salt free mini pretzels and eat them (serving size = 20) to cure my snack cravings. Even though they are salt free, I guess I trick myself into forgetting about that, because they do really seem to do the trick.

I eat frozen strawberries, pineapple, etc. and they make up for ice cream plus I get my fruit in that way.
