My Humps My Humps? (whoo whoo)

Tuesday, April 29, 2008

Okay….WHOO WHOO!!! I lost 1.8 pounds this week…BUT I KNOW IT’S MORE THAN THAT!!! Look away men, menstrual talk coming. Why must I suffer? I’m a good girl, when I’m sleeping, and when I trying to impress people. Why must I suffer the curse of women? Why must any of us women be cursed? I’m 44 and praying for menopause and that is just not right! For this week, I am a camel, and the truly sad thing is my humps did not get any bigger with my water storage.

I should have heeded the "look away men.." warning...

I now require a counselor!

Oh my, I remember oh so well. I finally hit menopause at 50 it has been a nice two yrs without it. I do still get the cravings 4 chocolate. But no bloat or pain that sent me to bed...

Soon your relief will come..

I feel your pain, friend... water retention is Mother Nature's cosmic joke. Thank goodness it only happens once a month! Hang in there and congrats on the loss... any loss is a good loss.

I must admit that I do not for one little minute miss getting my period. I had a hysterectomy five years ago at the age of 42. Only problem was I was thrown overnight into menopause, but that isn't so bad I/we can deal with things like this. I refuse to use HRT because just like the pill it has too high a risk of breast cancer so I won't touch it.

Well keep up the great work with your weight loss.
