Arthritis sucks!

Between the problems that I've been having with my hands and not being able to have my boob fixed immediately I've been a bit discouraged about everything and (gasp) even feeling a bit sorry for myself... I'm hoping the meds will help but I am doubtful. I've had a problem for several months now with a capsule constriction on my R breast. I had bi-lateral breast reconstruction with sub-muscular implants years ago and when I went for the 5 year check-up last year (a little late) there was a problem so I had to have the original reconstruction removed and it was replaced on top on the muscle this time. That was all well and fine but I developed a constriction (too tight scar tissue) on the R breast that I think was caused from lifting heavy items before I had healed completely. So... here we go again... I just want to get past it but there always seems to be something that drags it on in my life.

Since the scar tissue is too tight it makes that boob hard. It's like having a softball in there. I've had to adjust how I sleep and I'm very conscious if I hug someone. If I lift anything too heavy with that arm or too many reps it feels like it gets even tighter for a while. Most of the time it's OK.

I'm imagining boob constriction and not liking the sound of it at all. Does it stop you from moving the ways you want? A real bummer...

Thanks Kim! I'm feeling a lot better already. I was having a lot of pain in my hands the other day and was just frustrated and needed to vent. Thanks for your support. emoticon
