Whacky Weather

So last weekend we had 80 degree weather. I actually got sun burnt even though I wore sun screen. Have to check and make sure it is still good! So this morning the dogs got me up at 730am...ugh...I get up to let them out and make coffee. I walk over to the patio door and to my utter amazement I see freakin snow...that is right snow! It was laying on the grass, house tops and fences but not on the road. It melted a few hours later but how crazy is that in the Rogue Valley where we hardly ever get snow.

So this morning, while having coffee, I got on here and started surfing. Someone posted a great couch to 5k iPod program. Pretty cool! I am going to start half way through since I already am up to running a 1.5-2.5 miles. I also think I am going to enter a local race in the end of May. I know I could run a 5k by then...I may not come in first, actually I will probaby come in last but I think I am going to do it. I am trying to talk hubby into it. I don't think he will do it but he will at least be there to support me! The race is called Tough As Nails lol...that so sounds like me.

I went to the gym and did the elliptical for 50 minutes, a cross country course. I was disappointed because I loaded a few workout music podcasts but when I got they I couldn't find them. I am going to have to have my resident computer geek take a look at it.

I did some ab work but it seems like no matter how much work I do I never feel it the next day. Weird.

    HA - we had snow too but we never had the 80 degree weather (wench!). Talk about rude! I am going to have to check out the ipod program - still working on music list for working out...hehe.
