Wow what a difference it makes. Having somebody to work out with. It used to be that when I'd go down to do my workout, I'd take my walkman with me and listen to a cd while I walked on the treadmill. But even with the music to keep me company it was still boring. And there's nothing to look at outside except the occasional person walking by or maybe some kids playing out there. But then last week I met the most amazing person. She lives here in the same complex as me just a different building. We got to talking while we walked. Well ok I walked, she ran. But we found out we have so much in common. We've become friends and we've met down there 3 times now. I have something to look forward to when I go down. And we support each other. We both have those feelings where we don't want to go, but we know we need to and knowing that the other person is going to be there motivates us to get off our butts and go. Already I'm looking forward to tomorrow when I can go meet her again and workout together. I need to find out if she's got a computer and internet access and tell her about this site. I know she'd love it like I do.
