I am so excited to move from the "crash" dieting of Atkins, which really worked with me for several years, to something that feels manageable for a lifetime. I want my future husband Matt and I to feel happy and healthy together. He has been counting calories and has had much success in being aware of what he puts in his body. I desire this same blend of choosing healthy foods, in the right proportions, with no emphasis on removing one type over another. Oh yeah, and it would be nice to lose another 10 pounds before our September wedding. Even if I don't change physically, I want to change mentally, the power that I give food. I can do it!!
