not very good

Friday, April 18, 2008

so the last two days, I've kept up with my excerise, but my eathing wasn't the best. Let's see, thursday, I started out really good, but the my husband wanted to go to Olive Garden for dinner. That is soooo my weakness. I did good with the breadsticks, but still wasn't great...only had 3 of them...which is good, because I could easily eat 6. then there was the salad. On the good side of this, the server was stingy with the dressing. I could think of it as maybe she had an instict that we are dieting. I kinda filled up on that and brought a little more then half of my tuscan garlic chicken (I know, bad choice) home.

On to friday, the day didn't start good. Bad night of sleeping equals staying in bed and skipping my morning workout. I didn't stress about that because I decided that along with my lunchtime power walk outside, I would add some more cardio tonight. Um, wrong...along with running late, I left my workout close on the kitchen table. When I got to work and realized it I mentioned it to my co-worker and she said, 'well come to lunch with us, we're going to Rock Bottom'. I thought about it, and thought, I really don't feel like my leftover dinner from last night. So I went. I had a semi healthy choice, a turkey club, and instead of the fries, I asked for fruit. and something that I never do, I picked off the thicker pieces of the bread and had water. So all in all, I tried to pick a good choice, however, for dinner I ate the rest of my chicken from last night...blah....on a good note, I did squeeze in a 45 minute treadmill hill interval workout. On the hills, I was at level 8 out of 10 and 4mph, on the flat part I was at 4.3 for a little over 3 miles.

Not a great 2 days, but I'm not going to stress over it, it's not worth it. And besides, this is going to be a crappy food weekend. a bridal shower tomorrow and our 1 year anniversary is Sunday. As long as I keep up with my workouts and my add a little more, I promise not to stress about it.
