"Snack"? I don't think so!

I have decided that Spark needs an additional option when logging food. There is already Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Snack. Well, I propose they also add Binge. And then when you log something under Binge, a hand reaches out of the monitor and slaps you across the face.

Last week I did so well staying around 1200 and then last night I just... I don't know... lost my mojo or something. I had FOUR pieces of peanut butter toast. FOUR! And I wasn't even hungry! I am the Queen of Self-Sabotage. What is wrong with me?

So I go to log it this morning and I put it under Snack and just had to chuckle at that because it was NOT a snack, it was a bona fide BINGE!

    Hmph! I just had to laugh when I logged my food today because there is now a place at the bottom of the page where you can add "extra meal categories" and name it whatever you want. It did not, however, offer a slapping feature. I'm sure I would have any number of volunteers here at work to take that on for me if I think I need it. :)

    Well, butter my butt and call me a biscutt, darlin! IF you are actually entering your food, then I can tell you why. My calories are set a bit higher than yours, but I'm supposed to be eating 60-180 g of protien a day- yours might be 40-150, or whatever. Protein is a MAJOR important food block, and your body was saying- 'listen up, bud, we need more'. I read your food log, and you've been shorting yourself. I have that prob sometimes, too.
TRUST? OH, it looks like you should maybe TRUST your body? It might have some good things to say, now and then! Major, sweet concept. Nice.
Anyhoot, any time I get a major crave, I check my logs- I usually find I've shorted myself somewheres. You did.

    Hey, I know you're not feeling so great about it and it was by no means In The Plan, but 800 calories of good healthy food is the kind of speed bump you can roll right over. Hang in there!

    Well, you know that they keep adding enhancements to this site, maybe they can even come up with the slap (virtual)! - LOL! It is like we have an out-of-body experience, isn't it? Just pick yourself up and start over - immediately!
