They changed my muffins!

Tuesday, April 08, 2008

Anyone else eat Weight Watcher's muffins?

I haven't eaten them in a couple of weeks and decided to buy another box over the weekend. Well, I crack it open and think "hey, this seems a LOT smaller than normal."

They are totally smaller! Yet somehow only 10 less calories than before. In fact, the nutrition label is totally different! Apparently they now have less fat, sodium, MORE fiber, MORE carbs.

Which is cool and all, but I didn't think they were that big to begin with. And now they are like 3/4 of the size they used to be!

They used to be soft and a little chewy (at least my double chocolate ones). The one I just ate kept falling apart all over! They taste different too. What's going on?

Darn, I thought they were so good before. I definitely don't want something that's been altered to that affect. Bleh.

I was stopping by to see how you were doing. Obviously, you continue to excel! Anyway, thanks for pointing out the new info on the ww muffins.
i am diabetic and that carb increase makes a difference. I wouldn't have checked 'cuzI had it already in my favorites and never thought about checking to see if they changed them. I gotta be more careful!
You are doing awesome--almost there!

It's probably like other items........smaller size, less quality and higher prices. I've noticed that with other grocery items lately. Hugs, Shirley
