I am now completing day 6 on SP. I am learning a lot about where my normal diet was going wrong. I've learned that random snacking was adding A LOT of calories every day. Even cutting out the random snacking, my diet is still too high in carbs and, surprisingly, too low in fat. This is probably why I'm feeling hungry too much of the time. I tried to include more fat and fewer carbs in my diet today, and ended up too low on my carbs and way too high in my fat and calories. Aaaaagggghhhhhh! I guess I need to find the right balance.
I'm doing okay with my fast break goals and with getting my 8 glasses of water in. I didn't get my walk in today, but I did do some of a kundalini yoga dvd I bought months ago and never even opened. It was actually a lot of fun!
I also snuck a peek on the scale today even though it's not my weigh-in day yet. I've already dropped a couple of pounds. I know it's more water than fat at this point, but it's sure better than a gain!
So, all in all, a good start, I think!
