Yesterday afternoon I took my kids to visit my parents. Together we all went bowling. My dad wisely noted that you don't really realize how much weight you've lost until you hold a bowling ball. I picked up two 10-pound balls to represent twenty pounds and understood how much that weight really is. This simple concrete demonstration has renewed my motivation to improve my health by eating better and exercising more. I don't want to lazily add any "bowling balls" to my figure!!!
