This has been a crazy week. My husband has been laid off since December...it's a seasonal thing but got a job on Wednesday...third shift, ugh! Of course, he's happy to be be working but it throws everything out of whack in out schedules.
Today is my son's birthday party...he'll be 5 tomorrow...still can't believe it! So I've been swamped this week with party details...cooking, cleaning, errands, etc. Crazy and even crazier with two kiddies and trying to keep them somewhat quiet during the day when daddy is sleeping.
I find myself getting frustrated and panicked when my schedule is thrown off and my eating and exercise goes with it. While my eating has not been 100% clean, it could be worse....my calories and protein intake are okay but I'm not eating on my usual schedule (6 meals) and I can really feel it if it's been more than three hours between meals. Plus being tired doesn't help. I'm doing my best and not trying to stress.
My workout schedule is usually three days cardio and three days weight training but this week I've had to double up on few days but I DID get all of my workouts in! Including this morning. I was up at 5 am to put a roast in the oven for the party and planned on going back to sleep...I could not fall asleep so there I was at 5:30 am working out. I thought I was going to skip today's workout as I would be busy with party stuff but I did it! That's a huge change for me.
Another weird thing...the scale has not moved this month but I'm down another pants size...stupid scale!
