SparkPeople.com's founder, Chris Downie and several amazing members from the New York area will be interviewed on Fox 5 WNYW during the local Evening News (which starts at 5pm) on Thursday, March 27th. We're asking all of our members in the tri-state area to tune in to show their support for SparkPeople!

    I just watched the story by following the Inspirational Video link in the SparkPoints list.

I am surprised by what I learned. I have been using SparkPeople for several months on a very regular basis. I got the book and have been reading it in chunks. but, until watching the video, I had not REALLY fully realized the intensity of your (SparkGuy) commitment to the project, and to us!

This brings tears to my eyes. I've been trying REALLY hard to turn my life around, even though it's sometimes tough. And I can see that a lot of other folks here are doing the same. Knowing there is a person who cares enough to put his lifeblood into this (and not just another mindless, faceless corporate entity) really touches me.

I have a lot of reasons to be pursuing my journey to health, and your investment in us gives me one more good one emoticon

    Like I've told other members. I belonged to the Biggest Loser Website for a year. I always felt like they were pushing their products more than helping me. Thanks for a great site. I love how easy it is to track your nutrition. (now if I can remember to do it) Sorry I missed the show. I was out of town. Is it on U tube? :)

  I am so grateful to have found this site...I had been a member of another site and was unable to continue with it, when I overheard a discussion about this site...I have to tell you it is a godsend...I have lost 70lbs in the past year and I was terrified that if I didn't have a link to track my daily routine as well as have encouragement I would likely put the weight back on! Thank you so much and I am sharing the Spark!

    We were so disappointed tonight when we turned on Fox news only to find that the SP segment was not aired due to a hostage standoff situation. I hope it will be shown at another time and that you will be able to let us know when.

    Sparkpeople is the best site for healthy living. I have seen fast results with my own eye. My daughter-in-law started using Sparkpeople at the beginning of the winter and she is already at her goal weight.

It's the best site yet.
