I was told by my doctor a year ago to start walking. Because of my Arthritis and Asthma this was real difficult. And because of the pain and the difficulty breathing I could barely make it to the end of our street and back. I really did not have much motivation to do this because I let the pain stop me. Three months ago my wife's Doctor told her that she need to also walk. She has been sticking to it and increasing the amount that she walks every day. This motivated me to start doing the same thing. I started out walking just down to the end of our street and back three times a week. Then it became a trip around the block. Then a half mile. then a mile. Two weeks ago I made it to two miles and started walking every day instead of three times a week. What is amazing is that I now have less pain in my back, More energy and am in a better mood. And I am finally really starting to lose weight.
