Girl Scout Cookies are evil...

Wednesday, March 05, 2008

Before I joined SP I had ordered 8 boxes of Girl Scout cookies from a lady at work. They just came in last week. When they're just sitting there and I'm bored and not really paying attention I found that I eat half a box! Then when I realize it I put them away. Sometime in the next half hour I pull out a different kind and eat half of them. Its ridiculous. I can't believe that I ate so many cookies. I have done this more than once since I got them. The good thing is that I shared some at home so between me eating and eating them, and what I shared I only have one and a half boxes left. I am saving them for my little sisters who are coming to spend the weekend with me. I have no self control. I didn't even realize I was doing it until it was too late. UGH.

Cookies are evil in themselves but when they say Girl Scouts in front of them watch out. I felt bad for some Girls Scouts that were outside a store in freezing cold weather and I bought a couple of boxes. Wrong move I think I will just donate a couple of bucks next time. I with the others get rid of the cookies before you are like me and eat the whole box in 2 days. I hope you have a better week.

Krystina GET RID OF THOSE COOKIES RIGHT NOW. It is really hard for people like us...people trying to lose weight and trying to deal with addictions to have sweets around and not get into them. It is the same thing as a drug addict having his drug stashed in the drawer. Not a good idea. Just get rid of them now. When you family comes to visit you can go out to eat and have a small snack while out or suggest that they bring something healthy to eat, snack wise. Remind them you are on a new lifestyle of living. They love you, they will understand and support you. NOW...open up your window and throw those cookies out for the birds and squirrels. ;-)
Hugs,
Kat

Girlscout cookies are evil! I dont understand why we think that just because they are only avalible once a year its ok to over indulge and buy case after case of these things! I have no problem completely skipping the cookie isle at the store but as soon as that damn green barret knocks on the door you completely go numb. Get rid of the cookies (and not eat them yourself)!!! Keep them locked up or hidden or something. Out of sight out of mind.
