1st 10 pounds ...... Yeah!

So, I've been working hard ..... with obstacles and ditches ....... and have finally dropped below the first 10 bls! My next goal: 11 more pounds and I will throw away my old scale.

Explaination? Well, when I graduated university and started trying to lose the weight I bought a new scale. In the last 2 years I have come to realize that it is 9-11 pounds less than reality. My husband bought a digital scale for us last year. It sat unused in the closet for like 6 months but I took it out and dusted it off and bought new batteries for it and am using it. Needless to say, I don't like it's numbers. So.... I occasionally refer to the old one. But I decided that I will toss it's inaccurate and misleading ass after I get to the lowest point it has read for me in recent years. This ia a non-food reward; a symbolic ousting of the past efforts at weightloss that I failed at ...... this new scale will document my victorious achievement of a healthy weight. Sounds good and inspiring to me!
