Starting Fresh

I am doing SP for the second time, and am having trouble getting back into the groove. So, I am going to start a blog to just try to make myself more accountable. Today was great, because I got on the scale and had gained 2 pounds. Why was it great? Because that was just the kick in the pants I needed to get serious! I decided right there that I needed some buddies to help keep me going down the right path. Starting today, no more excuses or rationalizations for eating things I shouldn't be eating. It's ok to have treats, but they're not treats if you're having a steady diet of them!!!!! My worst times are late afternoons. I get very hungry around 3-4 pm. Today I had half a cup of cereal mixed with applesauce and yogurt. I'm feeling nicely full, and will be able to last until dinner... For exercise, I started a very small strength program (3 exercises, plus stretching), I walked the dogs for 30 minutes, and I rode Charm for 45 minutes. I feel like I got a good start on my new path. I just need to add my measurements (which I never did last time) and I will be all set. Way to go! *pats back*
