I've reached my first goal--I'm down 5%! That's 12 pounds! My next goal is down another 13 pounds for a total loss of 10%. I can fit into a pair of size 18 denim capris (not stretch denim) that I haven't been in for over a year. I'm walking several times a week and enjoying jumping rope with my kids. I haven't been tracking my foods so much because I've been spending less time on the computer.

Okay, so officially, I've lost 10 pounds. I know, I know, I lost that the first week...but 2 pounds came back (women completely understand). So anyway, I'm eating well and not cheating. I'm finding ways to cook for my family and me on our tight budget. There are some nights that I fix me something different, but mostly I eat the same as them (just prepared slightly different).

I've mentioned before that I love to bake. So today I baked a rhubarb pie (practically fat free) and used apple sauce instead of butter. It turned out alright. My middlest daughter is the one who actually made it, I just supervised. My oldest daughter made twice baked potatoes and my youngest made a sponge cake. It was all very wonderful and fun.

This morning was our very first ever family fishing trip. Nobody caught anything, but we went together and had fun--that's what counts. We plan on making it a pretty regular thing.

Speaking of regular, I've exercised almost every day this past week. Tonight I played soccer/kickball in the street with my 2 oldest daughters after we'd walked 1 mile. Between jumping rope and walking, my legs are getting pretty sore.

Personal Victory!!!

I can tell that my hard work and lifestyle changes are making a difference. My pants are all too big on me--my jeans are even loose on my thighs! I'm so excited...I'm actually going to make it this time!

Two weeks on Alli and no embarassing moments! I'm so proud of myself and the changes that I'm making. Last week I didn't exercise near enough but life's not over. I got out there tonight and burned 700 cals! Thanks for the help Ang and Rosie! I didn't weigh in yet either because I was gone on weigh day and this morning was crazy, but I look forward to the results! I've been enjoying more fruits and veggies and really love my low fat alternatives! I'm not even tempted to cheat. Tonight I made pizza! Whole wheat crust, ground turkey meat, fat free cheddar and part skim mozz, mmmmm, it was definately good and filling!

This week has been amazing! I know that many people are skeptical about Alli, and that's fine. I have been more aware of what has gone in my mouth this past week than I have ever been before. Yes! The scare tactic works and I need it. I haven't had any TE's (treatment effects) and have enjoyed eating well. Also, I've done great on my fitness training this week. I've done home workout videos and also walked laps around my street. My muscles are a little sore, but I love it. Last night I even went to Golden Corral (our favorite All You Can Eat buffet) and looked online at the nutrition facts before I went. I stuck to my plan and even got a coconut cream pie for dessert. It was amazing! I was able to walk out of there instead of needing to be rolled out. Today as a treat to myself I'm heading to Merle Norman for a makeover and I'm getting myself a pair of new sandals.

I hope that everyone has much success in the next week!

    YAYAYA! Hope you had a nice day getting a makeover! I too like ALLI so far! I have lost about 2.5 pound so far.. it'll be a wek tomorrow that I started ALLI. Last night tho I just had to plurge because it was my 4 yr wedding anniversary. I paid for it a little bit today, but not too bad! Hope you have a great week!

I started Alli today. I feel great. I stayed with my plan today and am on my way to bed. I did my cardio today and even went for a walk to convince myself that I was full.
